th

Almighty and everlasting God,
you hate nothing you have made
and forgive the sins of all who are penitent:
Create and make in us new and contrite hearts,
that we, worthily lamenting our sins
and acknowledging our wretchedness,
may obtain of you, the God of all mercy,
perfect remission and forgiveness;
through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns
with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
1979 Book of Common Prayer

Ash Wednesday services of Holy Eucharist and Imposition of Ashes will take place February 10, 2016 at 8:00 am, Noon, and 5:30 pm.

The online Lenten devotional we are inviting parishioners to use this year may be found at: http://ssje.org/ssje/growrule/

The devotional, produced by the Society of St. John the Evangelist (an Episcopal monastic order) focuses on “Growing a rule of life.” It forms the basis for the Lenten Study on Sunday evenings in Lent.
