Episcopal Youth Fellowship
EYF is a unique youth group. We talk about our lives, the difficulties we face as teens in today’s society, and look for ways to apply our faith and values to our day to day lives. For example, if one of us is having a bad day, that person can be sure that at youth group, people will be there to listen to any troubles and not judge them. We also trust that whatever is said will not leave the room.
Although some of us go to school together, often we only see each other at these once a week gatherings. We know that on Sunday nights, we are going to have a great time at EYF. We bond through games, watching movies, and discussion. Oh, yes, and did we mention food? We have dinner together, often pizza.
EYF also do service activities for the church and the community. For example, one Saturday, we painted the youth group room; one Sunday afternoon, we made a dinner for the local soup kitchen. We are always planning more community service projects, and they are actually fun. When you get to hang out with your friends, everything is fun, even stirring green beans!
So, if you want some awesome memories, great new friends, and a more casual God than you get on Sunday mornings, come join us for EYF. We meet at Calvary on Sunday evenings from 6 to 8 pm.
