Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday at Calvary
The Annual Boy Scout Troop 707 Pancake Supper will be held again this year at Calvary on Tuesday, February 21st, “Shrove Tuesday”. The Scouts always produce a great meal.
The Season of Lent begins the next day, on ASH WEDNESDAY. This year for Ash Wednesday, Calvary is offering two services--at 8:00 a.m., and 5:30 p.m. Both services will be Holy Eucharist, Rite 2, with the Imposition of Ashes. We hope you will mark your calendars and plan to be with us both these days, and especially Ash Wednesday, to start our Lenten observance in the way faithful Christians have done for hundreds of years. May God bless and enrich our lives this Lenten season.
