Vestry

Calvary’s Vestry is a committee of 12 members elected by the congregation to assist in directing the mission and managing the affairs of the church. The Vestry spends time in prayer and discernment and serves as a council of advice to the clergy. The Vestry’s primary canonical responsibility is to help assure the financial health of the parish and the upkeep of the properties; Calvary’s Vestry is also very active in helping to lead many types of lay ministry.

Members serve staggered 3-year terms; each year during the parish annual meeting, four new members are elected. All confirmed members over the age of 16 are eligible to stand for election.
