SUNDAYS: LITURGY OF THE WORD

Following the guidance of our bishop and bishop-elect, our online Sunday services of Rite I (no music) and Rite II (with music) will now be the ante-Communion (everything that happens before Holy Communion). The first part of the service will be the same as on Sundays. After the peace and the Offertory anthem (Rite II), we will say the Lord’s Prayer, bless, and dismiss. We will continue to videotape our service on YouTube. Click HERE to view our services (past and present).

WEDNESDAYS: EVENING PRAYER, 7:00 pm

Join us every Wednesday evening at 7:00 for Evening Prayer by Zoom. The next online gathering will be April 1. The meeting ID is: 790 770 484

MONDAY – FRIDAY COMPLINE WITH THE INTERIM RECTOR, 8:00 pm

On weekday evenings our Interim Rector will lead a service of Compline by Zoom.

Keep watch for the update on our Holy Week services. Planning is underway!

Below see the Collect from the feast of Dame Julian of Norwich who survived the Black Plague. Her story is inspiring for us today.

Collect for Julian’s feast day (May 8):

Lord God, who in your compassion granted to the Lady Julian many revelations of your nurturing and sustaining love: Move our hearts, like hers, to seek you above all things, for in giving us yourself you give us all; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Peace and blessings! Valori+
